Aims:

The course will introduce you to the basics of photography and its practical application in dentistry.

Learning Objectives

During the session the course provider will:

  • Describe the basics of photography 
  • Provide an overview of the essential aspects of dental photography
  • Introduce a workflow system for digital photography 

Learning Content

Following the session delegates will be able to:

  • Discuss the fundamentals of photography - exposure and composition 
  • Choose dental photography essentials including a focus on macro photography using digital SLR camera and lens 
  • Construct a practice work flow in digital photography and establish the various steps involved to create portfolio of cases

- Speaker: Peter Cranfield 

- Speaker Bio: General Dental Practitioner. Training Programme Director Bedfordshire and Luton DFT Scheme. Associate Dean - NHS England – East of England. Over 50 years' experience in clinical and general photography, and over 15 years' experience  of teaching photography. Over 20 years' experience of digital photographic image processing

- Fee: Dentists = £40. Therapists &Dental Nurses = £20
